Yasmine Forghani Soong is an MSc Speech-Language Pathology student at Dalhousie University with a background in Kinesiology and experience supporting diverse learners and communities. She has worked closely with children and youth of the global majority in both the public library and school systems. Outside of work, she serves on the Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Committee at Dalhousie University. Her research includes a publication examining the relationship between child and youth physical activity and family functioning. Yasmine is passionate about culturally responsive, inclusive, and equitable approaches to communication assessment and intervention.
