Franklin W. Bender is a speech-language pathologist, educator, and researcher specializing in Dynamic Assessment and culturally responsive evaluation practices. With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Bender has worked in K-12 education, higher education, and national and statewide consultation projects focused on equitable identification for special education services. He holds a PhD in Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership and a graduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Oregon. His teaching and research emphasize the application of mediated learning and dynamic assessment to speech-language pathology practice, particularly for diverse student populations. Dr. Bender is also a founder of Executive Communication Reset (ECR), a coaching program that applies language analysis principles to professional communication and leadership training.
