COURSE DESCRIPTION
Participants will define and explore cultural-linguistic policing in schools. Participants will discuss potential impact of racism and cultural-linguistic policing on academic performance and student mental health. Finally, participants will outline culturally sustaining pedagogies that can be incorporated into instruction and intervention. 0.15 ASHA CEUs
